HIS modem dialup accounts support 56K connections. Our dialup POPs are fed by Verizon and AT&T optical fiber, and are unaffected by rain,  melting snow and other conditions that can slow dialup providers whose connections are provided via copper lines.

Each dialup account comes with a 300 megabyte mailbox on mail.his.com that includes Postini spam/virus filtering, and space for a personal web site.  If you need more space, 750 megabyte accounts are available. You can use this disk space to store email, or set up a personal web site on www.his.com.  Many of our customers use this feature to do things like post photographs of things they're selling on eBay - this works well because the server is very fast, so the pictures will load quickly.
